Sexual abuse is not a topic that is easy to talk about.  This is especially true for the victims.  Children who have been the victims of abuse may try to surpress the memories and to believe it is happening to someone else.  Many times the abuser warns  the child to keep quiet.  The nine people interviewed in this book tell of their abuse as children and how they have tried to cope with it.  For them, the telling is a large part of the healing.
SUBJECTS:     Sexual abuse victims.
