Molly is having a hard time handling events in her world.  She and her dad have been in a car accident and she is blaming herself for his injuries.  He is now a quadriplegic.  Her mother is the sole support for the family now so they have to move into a small apartment which means that Molly is going to a new school.  Things are not going well at school but Molly is befriended by a strange boy named Chrys.  While working on a science fair project, Chrys lets Molly in on a secret about himself which may change everything.
