Jett Baranov is a spoiled, obnoxious brat. As the son of a tech-billionaire (think Elon Musk), Jett is used to his parents giving him everything (except attention), and letting him do whatever he wants. So, when his dad’s private jet drops him in the middle of Arkansas at a “summer camp” called the Oasis, Jett has no idea what to think. When it turns out the camp is a wellness retreat that forces the campers to unplug from all technology, eat a vegetarian diet, and participate in wholesome group activities, Jett knows exactly what he thinks—he hates it! The Oasis introduces us to a cast of characters that include Grace, the poster child for the wellness center; Tyrell, the always itchy kid with terrible allergies; and Brooklynne, the girl with a secret. As Jett is forced to live the “unplugged” life, he begins to bond with the other kids over their discovery of a baby lizard named Needles. As the weeks go on, Jett notices that adults at the Oasis are acting strange, and he is determined to find out why. Can he convince the other kids that he has actually changed, or will they always think of him as a spoiled brat? Will they be able to work together and figure out just what is going on at the Oasis?
