There are paragraphs highlighting the strangest facts about the animal. And a sidebar detailing the animal’s name, species name, size, diet, habitat, and predators and threats. The information is supported by David DeGrand’s cartoons. Useful vocabulary words are in boldface throughout the text and included in the back.
