A
long, long time ago, over one hundred years ago, two brothers lived with
their mother in Prussia. They were very poor and had no prospects
of doing better. So, the oldest brother decided to go to America
and make a better life for the family. He told his brother that he
would send for him just as soon as he saved the money. Henry got
a job working on a farm in Vermont and saved his money over the years.
Will he ever have enough to bring his family to America? |
