Travis and Chantelle are fast friends.  They have been since that day back in 5th grade when she rescued Travis from a group of bullies.  Travis is a prime target for bullies.  He loves puppets.  Both creating them and performing with them.  The bullies see this as "girlie" and tease him terribly.  Chantelle is disfigured and has a limp.  You know.  Another perfect target for bullies.  But when these two kids join forces, we see how their strength and support of adults help them through the turbulent junior high years.
SUBJECTS:     Bullying -- Fiction.
                        Schools -- Fiction.
