For most of his life, Darcy has cared for his little sister.  Kat was dropped off a fifth floor balcony when she was a baby and now she suffers from deafness and seizures.  Darcy mother has been in prison for Kat's fall and his father has not taken a very active roll in Kat's care.  Things are about to change though.  Darcy's mother is being released from prison.  Darcy does not want anything to do with the woman who tossed her own baby off the balcony.  But will he find that things are not what they seem?
