THE INTERRUPTED EDUCATION OF HUEY B
New York : Lodestar, 1991.

Mrs.
Burr expects a lot from Huey. Unfortunately, so does the patient in the
nursing home who expects Huey to guard the great Blue Herons against the
preacher's early morning gun. That makes Huey late for Mrs. Burr's class
which lowers his grade which grounds him which makes it easier for Huey
to hang out with two girls instead of one which lowers his grades even
more. How everything gets back on track is what this book is all about.
It certainly helps to have Bear for a friend. |
