Stefan is so excited about visiting his friend Carolina.  And he feels so grown up taking the plane all the way to Oregan all by himself.  No big deal since he is 13 now.  But Stefan is in a wheelchair and his parents are worried about him traveling alone.  They have no idea what he'll get involved in when he gets there.  Caroloina's stepfather is a lumber jack who depends on cutting the trees to earn a living.  And now the company he works for is going to clear cut a portion of old growth forest.  Stefan takes it upon himself to try to prevent the destruction.
