It was the first thing he saw as he lay there reeling from the blow.  Henry had just smashed him in the mouth and Jason knew better than to get up.  It would only lead to another punch.  But as he gazed up at the water tower above him, he began to think of all the ways that life depends on water.  And then at Teen Power Outreach class at church, Jason was just pulling the leader's chain when he made up the religion that worships water towers.  His friends got into the joke and it spirals.  But, it's just a joke.  Who would ever take a religion that worships a water tower seriously?  It's just a joke.  But not to everyone.
