I am sure you have heard about the Middle East on the news.  It seems that there are so many conflicts in this area.  Has it always been that way?  Or is it just during the past few years?  Wilborn Hampton is a journalist and he was stationed in the Middle East during the 1970s.  He covered the 1970 war and the war in 1973.  He uses what he learned during those times to explain the conflict to us.  He actually traces the origins of the wars back to Biblical times.  If you are interested in the background history of this area, Hampton's book is what you are looking for.
