Molly is 12. She lives with her 10 year-old brother Michael, her mother, her 7 year-old step-sister Heather, and her step-dad. Molly and her brother think Heather is a spoiled brat. Heather finds a new friend in the graveyard behind their home - a girl named Helen who died with her family in a mysterious fire over a hundred years ago. Now Helen’s ghost returns to lure children into the pond to drown. Molly tries to warn her parents about Heather and the ghost, but nobody will believe her.
