Imamu grew up in Harlem in NYC. His father was reported missing in action in the Vietnam War. After his mother found out her husband died, his mother started drinking and became an alcoholic. Imamu had been on trial for robbery and murder, but he was innocent and was acquitted. Anne Aimesly watched the trial, felt sorry for Imamu, and invited him to join their family as a foster child. After he moved in, Anne’s 8 year-old daughter disappears and suddenly Imamu finds himself to be a prime suspect again for a crime he didn’t do. This time for the kidnapping of the 8 year-old girl.
