THE OTHER SHEPARDS

The
Other Shepards is the story of the Shepard sisters, 14-year-old Holland
and her 12-year-old sister, Geneva. These two sisters lead a very
restricted and protected life because of the 'other Shepards', their three
older teen-age siblings who died in a car accident before Holland and Geneva
were born. The psychological scar this accident has left on their family
has led Geneva to suffer from an obsessive-compulsive disorder, while Holland
strives to be the perfect daughter and the perfect sister. The entry
of Annie, a mysterious young artist, into their home and lives, turns the
girls' lives around. Read this book to learn how they gain an understanding
of their parents' possessiveness, as well as an ability to deal with it.
Will the current Shepards be able to finally accept and heal their family's
wounds, and help make their family stronger? (Jeannie Bellavance
