Sixth-grade friends, Prianka, Gabrielle, and Cecily, constantly text and email each other in this emoji-filled novel formatted primarily in text messages.  Middle grade school life is revealed and we learn about Gabrielle’s possible move, the upcoming Valentine dance, homework issues and boy-crushes. Victoria, a new girl wishing to develop friendships, attempts to become part of the group-messaging, but is excluded.  When Victoria’s mom emails the principal about this social cruelty, all parents are informed of the situation. Trouble ensues for the text-messaging girls and for the entire school, forcing everyone to seek a solution to the problem. (New Jersey Garden State Children's Book Award 2021)
