As
a sequel to "Summer of My German Soldier", this book tells how Patty Bergen
survived the humiliation of aiding and abetting a German POW during World
War II and is still obsessed looking for motherly love she never got from
her own strict parents. Helped by a graduation check from her grandmother,
she travels to Paris and eventually to Germany to the soldier's home town
though Patty's plans don't all work out as she had wished. She winds up
with a future she hadn't even dared to think about. |
