Twelve-year-old Telly is sent to Toronto to live with her Aunt Kathleen.  Telly's sister is out of control and has even stolen a school bus so it is better to have Telly out of there.  But Aunt Kathleen doesn't know anything about raising a kid.  Funny, though.  She produces a television show for kids.  Telly discovers something that others don't know.  One of the puppets on the show is actually alive!  And it isn't a sweet little puppet.  It's as unpredictable and uncontrollable as Telly's sister.  Together, they have all sorts of adventures and lots of trouble.
