After a failed suicide attempt, 17 year-old Charlie is admitted into a rehab facility for self-harmers. When her insurance refuses to continue her treatment, Charlie’s mother signs her out of rehab and sends her from Minneapolis to Arizona where a friend has agreed to help her in her recovery.
