Ames is the kind of girl who has it all.  Her dad has a great job and they are very well off.  She goes to a private school.  She has friends and life is good.  She is even a bit of a rich snob. But then the whispering starts.  Other girls in school are laughing at her.  Her mother is angry all the time.  And her father is "working from home".  As the days go by, Ames finds out her father has lost his job.  And it gets worse.  He's actually been fired.  And they are at risk of losing everything.  Ames takes all this personally and she is so angry with her parents.  Enter a new friend that Ames confides in.  But is he her friend?  Or does he have his own agenda?
