This
is a 1950's novel of a girl trying to get through junior high. She's got
a problem. Her parents drink a lot and expect her to do a lot of the work
around the house. She thinks that by being good for them, she can help
them get over their problems. The thing is, no matter what she does, she
can't change them. |
