 Emily Dickinson is one of my favorite poets.  Have you read any of her poems? This collection is comprised of her poems about death and loss.  Dickinson was obsessed with these topics and these poems represent her feelings.  The illustrations add to the dark feeling of the work.  Although only seven of Dickinson's many poems are reproduced here, readers will get a definite sense of her feelings about death.
