Gavin
and Grandad spend a lot of time together. Mom works longs hours selling
houses. Dad is away working. Grandmom works at a local shop.
That leaves Grandad to take care of Gavin after school. Sometimes
Gavin feels that if everyone else in his life disappeared, it wouldn't
be so bad because he would still have Grandad. Grandad who takes
him fishing. Grandad who spends time making incredible model ships.
Grandad who always knows what Gavin is thinking. Grandad who tells
Gavin about the selkies. When Grandad has a stroke, everything changes.
How will Gavin ever cope with this? |
