Sidney
T. Mellon, Jr. What a name to pin on a young boy. Especially
if that young boy had an exceptionally large head covered in red hair.
Is it any wonder that he got the nickname Melonhead? When Sidney
was six years old, his parents divorced. The judge left it up to
Sidney to decide who to live with. How can a boy so young make such
a big decision? He didn't want to hurt their feelings by choosing
so he didn't. Now he spends time with each of them. One year
with his dad in Los Angeles and one year with his mom in Seattle.
His dad is rather irresponsible and his mom has married a man who is not
very nice to Sidney. Sidney's life is not so great. When his
mom ships him back to Los Angeles to keep his step father from abusing
him, Sidney finds he is not wanted by his dad either. So, instead
of going back to Seattle, Sidney boards a bus to New York. He doesn't
think his parents will even notice. Join Sidney on his quest to find
a better place to be and perhaps to discover happiness. |
