Evan looks forward to enjoying the summer before he starts fourth grade. He has a lot of friends and he’s good at talking to people, but not so great academically. His younger sister is the opposite. Jesse is really book smart, but she doesn't relate to kids her own age easily. But Jesse and Evan get along fine until their parents receive a letter from the school. Jesse is so bright, that they are going to skip her ahead a grade- into fourth grade- into Evan’s class. Evan is horrified. Now all of his friends will compare him to his brainiac sister. And so the lemonade war begins. Evan and Jesse are going to compete to see who can sell the most lemonade; Jesse using brains and Evan using his charm.  (Courtney Anderson, Librarian)
