#1
Juliet Dove is very, very shy.
She doesn't like to be noticed in the least. When she visits a mysterious
shop and is given an amulet, she doesn't know how it will change her life
drastically. Once she puts it on, she can't take it off. She
is trapped. When she finds out that the amulet was once worn by Helen
of Troy and that its purpose is to attract boys, she is absolutely devastated.
She now has boys following her wherever she goes. And she knows she
is destined to wear the amulet until an ancient story is finished.
What can she do? How can she ever figure out how to help? She
knows that every love story needs an ending but why is it up to her to
find one?
Booktalk #2
Juliet
Dove is a painfully shy person who verbally "slices and dices" when others
tease her."Killer" is not a nickname she cherishes. She
hopes to gain control of her tongue but a visit to a magic shop makes matters
worse. The amulet given to her cannot be removed
from her neck and the boys in town are becoming more and more attracted
to her.Mice and knowledge of Greek mythology may
just be the key to unlock the clasp. Black-eyed
