Coville, Bruce
GOBLINS IN THE CASTLE
New York : Minstrel Books, 1992.
IL 5-8
ISBN 0671727117
This is the 21st Coville book and I think it is the most enjoyable. One of the characters is named Ishmael. When he is asked his name, he says it is Ishmael, but don't call me that. Throughout the book, when his name is mentioned people say -- don't call him that. This is a fun story built along high fantasy's classic lines. The "note from the author" at the end explains why it is so good. He has lived with the story for a while and just recently decided to get it published. Fantasy lovers will enjoy this book.  (Frederick Muller, fmuller@planet.net, Halsted Middle School Library, Newton, New Jersey)
