Nat
Field lives with his Aunt Jen. His Mom died of cancer when he was five,
and his Dad, in his own sadness, killed himself. Nat’s saving grace is
that he loves to act, especially tumbling parts. He’s very good at it.
So good that he’s been chosen to go with a company of boys to London to
perform at The Globe, a reconstruction of a theater where Shakespeare’s
plays were originally performed. Nat loves London. He becomes mysteriously
ill with the bubonic plague, and wakes up in Elizabethan London 1599. His
finds himself part of a troupe that Shakespeare is writing plays for. What
will happen to Nat Field? Read King of Shadows! (New
Hampshire Great Stone Face Committee) |
