Half-Moon Investigations is an interesting mystery book. It is about a nerdy kid detective named Half-Moon, and the school bully Roddey. Roddey comes from a family that is accused for stealing everything in his community. One day Half-Moon and Roddey have to team up to solve a case. If they don't solve, it they will be put in jail for breaking and entering, robbery, and other suspense’s. This is a life or death case for both of the two boys. If Half-Moon doesn't solve this case he will loose his most prized possession, and that is his detective badge. This is a fantastic book that is for any gender that loves mystery and crime solving. I highly recommend this book for kids older the age of 11.  Another brief recommendation is if you toss a book away after 50 pages this book isn't for you because, there is not action till after ¼ of the book. I would rate this book a 4 star and hope many pre-teens would decide to read Half-Moon Investigations.  (Alexandria G., student)
