Peter Lewinski has run away from his foster home because of abuse. He had spent most of his life in the children's home so had looked forward to living in a real home. Unfortunately, the Bentley's 18 year old son beat Peter up and threatened to kill him. Peter hitchhiked to Cypress Corners, Florida and met up with some kids who are into motorcycle racing. The kids want Peter to join them in stealing parts. Peter refuses and is lucky enough to find a rider who invites Peter to stay with him in exchange for work on his motorcycle. Will Peter finally find the home he is longing for or will trouble follow him?
