This book
is a sequel to YEAR OF IMPOSSIBLE GOODBYES. Fifteen
year old Sookan has fled to South Korea with her
mother and brother to escape the Communists. Life
is very hard on the refugees and Sookan's one
pleasure is singing in the church choir. There she
becomes friends with Junho, the brother of the
