Lennie
watches a lot of TV. When he's not watching, he's
day dreaming about what his favorite TV families
are doing. The only thing that competes with
Lennie's love for TV is his love of crossing the
lake in an old rickety row boat to explore the real
lived-in home when the vacationers have left for
the season. He knows where the keys are kept and
knows who has a domino set and who has a puzzle.
One such trip to the camps proves more
adventuresome as he gets a snake bite while trying
to avoid being seen by the patrol car. Then he's
not so sure he wouldn't rather by caught. To find
out how the TV kid manages to get out of this major
jam, read Betsy Byars' "The TV Kid".
