Life in
England for 12 year old Charlie is a hard one. He
leaves his life behind to go to America to make his
fortune. When he arrives in Philadelphia, he
discovers that he is to be sold as an indentured
servant. The family who buys Charlie come to care
for him but they eventually sell him to another
family. Charlie runs away from his cruel owner and
meets Drogo, a runaway slave from the South. Drogo
convinces Charlie that he is safe in the woods
living among the other escaped slaves. But is this
the place Charlie can call home and finally build
CHARLIE'S HOUSE?
