High school junior Scarlett is a BNF
(Big Name Fan) in the Lycanthrope High fandom. When the
show is cancelled, she and other BNFs are desperate to
keep the fandom active. Inspired by the boy she's loved
for years and his new pod-person girlfriend, Scarlett
writes a poorly disguised version of her actual life and
publishes it online as next generation Lycanthrope High
fan fiction. As she'd hoped, her fic invigorates the
fandom and draws in readers. But it's only a matter of
time before the fic falls into the wrong hands, and
Scarlett must deal with the fallout the only way she knows
how: with wit, honesty, and a little bit of running away.
