Annie Glover has quite the grandmother.  Grandma is protesting the removal of a giant tree to make way for a swimming pool complex.  And she asks Annie to wrap the chain around her and lock the padlock.  All Annie's friends think that Grandma is a bit strange.  But then Annie's best friend Jazz discovers that this tree holds a lot of history in the town.  And now her whole class has decided to help Grandma with the protest.
