If you are a reader who loves trucks, tools and construction sites, you will love this book!  The story shows a family building their house.  Even with the help of friends, the house takes a long time to build, but we get to see all the steps along the way: from drilling the well for fresh water, to laying out the foundation, framing the house, adding exterior walls and a roof, adding the plumbing and electrical wires, painting interior walls and finally to the party that celebrates moving day.  This story is inspired by events from the author’s own childhood, includes photos at the end of the story that show his parents building their house.  (Pennsylvania Young Reader's Choice Award, 2015)
