Do you watch Scandal or Pretty Little Liars? If so, you will be a fan of The Fixer by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Tess is thrown into a world of lies and intrigue when her grandfather falls ill. She is forced to move to D.C. to live with her sister and attend a prestigious private school. Tess only wants to be back with her grandfather, and dislikes her sister’s intervention. Suddenly, an influential member on Capitol Hill dies, and Tess is acquainted with his grandson and his grandson’s friends. Tess must determine who killed this man and help her friend. Her sister’s world as a fixer in politics collides with Tess’s personal and investigative lives. A lot of secrets will be told and discovered as Tess investigates. Both sisters Tess’s adventures do not end with this book, as it is the first in a series.
