I know, I know. You have heard the backstory of Wonder Woman many times. But I think this one is new and enjoyable. Yes all the things you love about Wonder Woman are here but it is a new story. We meet Diana on the island and she is trying to prove herself to the others.  But she can't leave a teenage girl out in the ocean to die. So she rescues Alia from a shipwreck and brings her back to the island. This is not just any girl. The oracle tells Diana that Alia is the warbringer and unless the two can reach Themyscira, global war will be inevitable. Alia doesn't make it easy though.
