Polar bears may look cute and cuddly but they are really one of the fiercest predators in the north.  Of all the animals that live in the Arctic, the polar bear is at the top of the food chain.  The only thing they fear is another polar bear.  However, something they have no control over is threatening their existence.  Global warming is claiming the sea ice that the bears need to live on.  The bears need to swim further and further away from the ice floes in order to find enough to eat.  Find out more about this amazing creature.
