  • Smith - Adam Joshua--  who steals his favorite superman book from the library.  Everyone was waiting for this book which was missing.  He just wanted to draw the book himself so he would have it.

  • Williams, Vera - Amber Was Brave, Essie Was Smart.  The children's father is in jail because he stole money  [forged a check] from his workplace.  It would show the wide reaching  effect of such an action.
  • Wilson, Jacqueline - Bad Girls. Ten year old Mandy must endure torment from three nasty bullies in school, but she finds solace in a new friendship with an older girl.
