  • She's not There by Jennifer Finney Boylan (previously James Finney Boylan).  It follows a man's path to becoming a woman, with lots of insight into gender requirements and characteristics and with a wonderful sense of humor.
  • Suits Me: the Double Life of Billy Tipton.
  • The Flip Side by Andrew Matthews is about a boy who must dress as a girl in a drama production--and discovers that he likes it.
