Chesapeke Bay


Jacob Have I Loved by Katherine Patterson.   It deals with several families of oystermen, some of the issues that surround that lifestyle, and some good, old-fashioned family issues.  It is a good middle school level book

Cynthia Voigt's novels about the Tillerman family take place on the Chesapeake Bay (e.g. Dicey's Song).
