The Moccasin Goalie. He wrote a sequel called The Final Game
a couple of years later. William Roy Brownridge writes and illustrates
these books and the paintings/illustrations are outstanding. They
are published by Orca in Victoria, BC, Canada.

Skate. Not 100% hockey, but I think it shows how obsessed hockey fans can
get! Plus, it is an excellent book.

Hockey Sweater. It's not the greatest book but it does have a hockey playing
girl which is a nice change - so do the Screech Owl books which were mentionned
in an earlier posting.

McGregor, Roy. "Screech Owl" series
books: juvenile mysteries involving the Screech Owl hockey team.
They are very popular with young readers in Canada.
