This book is about a thirteen year old boy named
Brian Robinson who goes to see his Dad in Canada because his parents split
up. On the way, the plane crashes and he has to survive on the food
around him. He finds some berries on a bush and he ate them so fast
that he now calls them gut berries because they are so disgusting to him.
Then he finds a bear and the bear scares him off. He made a little
hut under a rock and he goes back to that and stays there trying to survive.
